Jaipur, Rajasthan: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced an Orientation Programme on the CBSE Hub and Spoke School Model for affiliated schools, aimed at strengthening collaborative learning and optimal resource sharing among institutions.
The Hub and Spoke School Model, earlier introduced by CBSE as a strategic initiative, focuses on building a strong network of schools to enhance student well-being through effective counselling frameworks, shared expertise, and institutional coordination. To ensure better awareness and effective implementation of the model, CBSE is organising this orientation programme for Hub and Spoke Schools.
The programme is scheduled to be held on 26 December 2025 (Friday) from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan’s Vidyashram, Opposite OTS, KM Munshi Marg, Jaipur, Rajasthan – 302015. Participants are advised to arrive by 9:30 AM for pre-program formalities.
The orientation programme is open to Principals, Vice Principals, Counsellors, and Wellness Teachers of CBSE schools. The key objectives of the programme include familiarising participants with the framework and guidelines of the Hub and Spoke School Model, promoting collaborative learning and resource-sharing, strengthening institutional coordination, enhancing capacity building, and fostering networking among school leaders and coordinators.
CBSE has clarified that there is no registration fee for the programme. However, travel and accommodation expenses (TA/DA) will be borne by the participants. Confirmation emails will be sent to selected participants after registration.
CBSE Hub and Spoke Schools have been directed to depute at least two representatives, preferably the Principal or Vice Principal along with a Counsellor or Wellness Teacher, to participate in the programme. Other CBSE-affiliated schools are also encouraged to register, though their participation will be subject to availability and will be confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Interested participants can register through the official online registration link. For further queries, schools may contact CBSE via email at cbse.counseling@gmail.com
